Ostertag Vistas provides an 11 hour rental for events including a ceremony and reception concluding at 11:00 PM. A last dance can occur at 10:00 PM and the last hour is used for general clean up.

There are four locations including a dressing suite in the barn with three rooms including the sky loft, tub, shower, and double vanity, another with a kitchenette, shower, bar, two rooms, slot machine and dart board, the cottage, and a separate dressing room next to a restroom inside the barn.

Absolutely and in accordance with our inventory quantities. They are set up and removed for all ceremonies, cocktail hour and receptions. There are round and rectangular tables. Chair styles can be upgraded from white resin lawn chairs for a ceremony, white folding padded chairs for a reception and dark brown wooden chairs for cocktail hour. Everyone is different and have different visions for their event. Also offered are optional farmhouse tables and other rentals if desired.

You are asked to select a location of your choice for nice weather and our landscaper will groom that location up to 30 days prior to your event. You are not isolated to only a few options. If your choice is to be married outside without wet grass, many choose the patio. If there should be inclement weather, a ceremony in the romantic stable is a popular option, but the great room is a beautiful location as well!

Please see our website for caterers we exclusively have available to you. They represent a wide array of price points and styles and are fully-trained and comfortable working at Ostertag Vistas. They also serve Frederick County, Washington DC, Virginia and the greater Maryland regions.

We’d hate for you to ‘work’ on one of the most special days of your lives. We highly recommend a day-of coordinator who understands logistics associated with Ostertag Vistas and the ability to respond to quickly-changing needs such as weather. Ostertag Vistas provides a liaison always at your side to ensure guests are comfortable, safe and guided to key locations throughout the day, but does not perform day of coordination services.

There are six restrooms available.

There is only one event per day which offers the ability to relax.

The barn is 100% heated. The barn is air conditioned with the exception of the great room and loft.
